Welcome

Object of Rotary
The Object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise. The Auburn Rotary Club, by recognizing the worthiness of all occupations, invites community businessmen and proffessionals to use the social process of weekly fellowship to discover opportunities for service that require group participation. Drawing upon the high ethical standards of one's business or profession, a member of the Auburn Rotary Club dignifies his occupation when he uses it to serve those in need throughout our community.

The Four-Way Test
In the course of a Rotarian's service to his community, the Four-Way Test is the standard to measure all decisions. Of the things we think, say or do:

Is it the Truth?
Is it Fair to all concerened?
Will it build GOODWILL AND BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
Will it be BENEFECIAL to all?
The Four-Way Test is a guide to RIGHT thinking. During the course of living one's personal and business life, a Rotarian is asked to formulate the habit of checking one's thoughts, words and deeds against the Four-Way Test. The outcome will be more effective and friendlier relationships resulting in a happier and successful life experience.
